With the current foster parents,  Bernadette can be petted and picked up as long as she is not playing. If she is playing, it's catch me if you can. She is just a little bit shy with new people, but can be easily set at ease by play. Bernadette is a total lap cat when she is ready for a nap. She will climb up on your lap and make herself at home.  She is very outgoing and curious about everything. She tries to be very helpful when you are trying  to garden, have the bathroom sink faucet going, sweeping the floor or trying to type on the computer. She will sit with you and watch TV! She is a total love! She and her sister Penny are mirror twins, and act very much alike. Of the litter, the two girls are the sweetest.
