At just 1-year-old, you could say I've got a lot of life experience. I was born in a feral colony in San Jose. I was trapped, neutered, and returned to the colony as a kitten... when the shelter was too full and didn't have room for me. That's why I have the tip on my ear. Thankfully, a year later, someone noticed my charming personality and St. Francis saved me from the streets. I've spent the last month in foster care, I've gotten some much needed R&R and I feel like a new man. These days, I choose my company wisely—I prefer gentle, patient people who share my love of peace and quiet. And, if you take the time to get to know me, I'll be your loyal, loving lap cat. I'm quite talkative and, when I am alone, like to ask people to come pet me! I get along okay with other mellow cats... but sometimes the more assertive ones bully me. I'm not too worried about dogs.

Redd's fixed, chipped, vaccinated, and tested negative for FIV and FELV. His tax-deductible adoption fee is $100.  We are a small (but mighty!) volunteer-run organization. To be considered for one of our kittens, you must first submit an application at stfrancisanimal.org. Due to the large number of emails we receive daily, a volunteer will contact you within 72 hours only if it's a possible match.
