I mportant: We're a small (but mighty!) volunteer-run organization. To be considered for one of our adoptable animals, you must first submit an application at stfrancisanimal.org. Due the high volume of applications we recieve, we can't guarantee we'll respond to each one. A volunteer will contact you within 72 hours if we think you might be a match.

Benji is a loving, playful, and energetic puppy who enjoys other dogs of all sizes and kids of all ages. He's potty trained and will let you know when he needs to go out.

He’s a big fan of of QT with his foster family in the backyard. When he’s not sunbathing, he’s running around chasing his ball (or anything else that moves!) or playing with his foster siblings. Then, when he’s tired, it’s snuggle time...he loves to cozy up to you for belly rubs or curl up in his bed with with with the resident dogs.

We pulled Benji from our local shelter in January with a broken leg ... poor little dude was hit by a car with his precious owner. He’s had surgery to repair his broken leg, and the surgeon expected him to make a full recovery. After multiple check ups, he’s now nearly recovered and ready for a forever home of his own.

Benji is fixed, chipped, deflead, dewormed and has received his DAPP and rabies vaccines. His tax-deductible adoption fee is $450.
