Meet Oscar! He came into the San Jose shelter with his feral mama, so we brought him into foster care where he can get TLC and socialization (mama was released after being spayed). At roughly 4 weeks old, Oscar is still not quite ready to be neutered yet. Once he exceeds the 2 pound mark, we will get him neutered, vaccinated, and chipped and he'll be ready to move on to his forever home. We anticipate that happening around the 8 week mark, so 2-3 more weeks until he's ready. Oscar is pretty mellow so far. He's quiet and mildly explores new areas of his little room a bit more each day. He was open to snuggles straight away upon arriving at his foster home! He's a love. He is eating like a champ (wet and dry food combined), using the litter box just fine, and learning to interact with human children. In a couple short weeks, Oscar will make a fine fuzzy friend!
